How-To Prepare Blondie's Vegan Meats

- Large Mixing Bowl
- Whisk or Fork
- Air-Tight Container
- Measuring Cups or Food Scale
Materials
- 1 cup Water
Instructions
- Empty the entire bag into a mixing bowl
- Add 1 cup of tap water (may substitute with veggie broth; may need to adjust measurement)
- If desired, add 3 tablespoons of heart-healthy oil to help form and cook
- Vigorously mix together with fork, hands, or whisk to blend well
- Rest 3-5 minutes
- The mixture should be formable something similar to playdough
- On medium heat, use a non-stick skillet or pan and coat with heart-healthy oil
- With damp hands, shape and pre-cook approximately 5-7 minutes - Shape into patties, cutlets, strips, or desired shape - season as desired.
- Cool and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. Can be frozen.
- When mealtime comes reheat as desired. To create "shredded" meat, tear into bite-sized pieces and reheat in a lightly oiled pan.
